No box? No problem.
Try the new PC web beta in your browser, or run the Android TV app in a free emulator when you want the same remote-first box experience on Windows.
Viewmaxxing is built for VSeeBox V3, SuperBox V3, and other compatible Android TV boxes. It folds YouTube, Twitch, movies, TV and anime into one remote-first app. The new PC web version is in beta at view.maxxtopia.com and needs no install; the APK route below is for running the box build on Windows.
⚡ Why it just works
- It's a standard APK. The current build supports Android 8+; use an emulator image at Android 8 or newer.
- It is D-pad-first. Arrow keys, a controller, or the mouse can drive the same focus-based layout that a TV remote uses.
- The web beta is the quick route. Open it in a browser with no emulator; use the APK route when you specifically want the Android TV build.
🛠 Run the box app on Windows — 4 steps
Install an emulator
Grab BlueStacks 5 from its official site (easiest). On a low-spec PC, LDPlayer 9 is lighter. No Google login needed.
👉 If setup offers virtualization (VT-x / AMD-V), turn it on. It's the #1 thing that makes it smooth vs. sluggish.
Grab the APK

.apk to your Desktop. This is the Android TV build for the box route.
🔗 discord.gg/S78eecbWdx — the app's updater can handle later releases, so you only sideload the APK once.
Drag it in
With the emulator open, drag the .apk onto the window and drop.
The icon appears in a few seconds.
🧩 Drag not working? Use the Install APK button in the side toolbar (BlueStacks: under "System apps").
Open it & play
Launch viewmaxxing. Home paints with the tab bar up top. Go full screen (BlueStacks: F11) for the couch feel — it's landscape already.
🎮 The controls
Remote-first, which on PC is a good thing — the defaults already work, no custom setup:
⌨️ No arrow keys? (60% boards, laptops)
Totally fine — arrows are just the convenient default. Any one of these drives the whole app:
- Mouse only — everything's clickable. Zero keys. Simplest answer.
- Remap keys — bind WASD to the D-pad in the emulator's key editor. 30 seconds.
- Plug in a controller — Xbox/PS pad works as a D-pad out of the box.
- Fn layer — most 60% boards put arrows on Fn+WASD or IJKL.
🚀 Make it run its best
🩹 Stuck? Quick fixes
Real talk: the Android TV build is free and sideloaded, with no account required and history kept on the device. An emulator adds a little overhead versus a real box, while the PC web beta is the quickest way to try it in a browser. Own a VSeeBox or SuperBox? Use the APK on the couch. Don't? The beta gets the experience onto the screen you already own. 🎉
